Sarah Brightman
Sings the Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber
I do not have this CD, but I can give the track list, with links
to the lyrics. Most of the songs appear also on a CD I do have, and
these are mentioned (where ALW stands for Andrew Lloyd Webber, of course):
--
Surrender, The Unexpected Songs (1995)
--
The Andrew Lloyd Webber Collection (1997)
--
The Andrew Lloyd Webber Collection, vol. 2 (2005)
The year mentioned behind the song title is the year when the song was
recorded, according to the CD-booklet. For two songs (10 and 13)
this is different from the song on the other CDs, as indicated; the
lyrics are the same, however, except for one word in the song
Memory [thanks to Carlos Pineda
for this info].
Steven Phillips wrote me that the version of "Music of the Night" on
this CD is slightly but noticeably different from the version on
Surrender: the version on "Surrender" CD is
engineered for a fuller, richer sound than the one on "Sings the music
of ALW".
