- Compiled a much improved translation of
Hijo de la Luna, sung
by Sarah Brightman on her
latest CD La Luna; the
translation in the CD-booklet is not very good.
Note that translations of the two songs that got no translation
in the CD-booklet are also available:

needs some improvements) and
How fare this spot.
- Updated the pages on
"La Luna" world tour 2000
of Sarah Brightman.
I was told Sarah would perform in The Netherlands, in
Amsterdam
on 16 December 2000, but that concert has been cancelled, so
I heard on 26 June.
- Added a page about a new
Scottish Liqueur I found
yesterday:
Drambuie Cream.
Scottish liqueurs seem to be very populair lately: more and more
new liqueurs based on Scotch Whisky are being made.
- 28 april
- Bought the latest CD of Sarah
Brightman on the day of its release in The Netherlands
and made the usual set of pages about it over the next few days.
The CD is called La Luna.
- Added because of that also the lyrics of a nice song about the
moon: The moon is a harsh
mistress
- 28 march
- Put my new email address at the
Contact Me page; please do not use my
old email address anymore.
- 23 february
- Made a Contact Me with my email address on
it. A link to that page will replace the email address given at the
bottom of each of my Web pages, thus making it easier to change my
email address -- which will be necessary, as the computer I am now
using will be shut down in the near future.
- At the same time each of my Web pages will get a link to the
Site Map, to make easier for
visitors to search for the info they are looking for.
- Finished this change on all Web pages on 12 March.

- 7 february: new WWW-server

At this day all my Web pages are moved from the Web server of the
Vortex Dynamic Group where it all started back in October
1994, to the new server of the
Fluid Dynamics Laboratory at
the Eindhoven University of Technology.
Unfortunately this change-of-address means that lots of links and
bookmarks of others to my Web pages may be faulty for some time.
To help people find my new place on the Web, referring pages are
set up at the old server, but these refering pages will be removed
in the near future.
I apologise for any inconvenience this causes, but the change
was unavoidable. In any case, I am very grateful to the server
administrators that I am allowed to keep my Web pages.

- Did a lot of minor changes on several Web pages, all because of the
move of all my Web pages to another server; see above.
- Added a kind of site map in text
format, for quick reference of my Web pages; I am not satisfied
about it yet, but it may be helpful to others.
- Added a few things to my Scotland pages; see the

- Made for the songs from Loreena McKennitt a
CD index with track lists
as well as an
alphabetic lyrics list,
with links to these indices from all pages,
just as I made for Sarah Brightman's songs on 9 january.

Read in a newspaper that there are now about 1000 million
documents on the Web .... wow. And these are located on
nearly 5 million WWW-servers, according to the
Inktomi Corporation,
Unfortunately, even the best search engine finds only
some 15% of these HTML pages, it seems. There is great need
for more intelligent search methods, that much is clear.
- 9 january
- Because it was getting a bit confusing to find lyrics of songs
from Sarah Brightman in the large collection of HTML files I
have (some 160!), there is now a proper
CD index with track lists
as well as an
alphabetic lyrics list,
and all pages got a link to these index files
