We have just left the path leading down from a parking place
On the left is a part of the mountain ridge Aonach Eagach (967 m)
in the distance lies Buachaille Etive Mór (1022 m);
both can also be seen on
Glen Coe -- part 1.
View backwards to the mountain ridge Aonach Eagach (967 m);
the parking place with our car is barely visible somewhat left of
the bottom-centre of the photo.
The path we follow leads between two mountains into a 'lost valley'.
After crossing the river Coe the path gets more and more difficult,
and we decide to turn back: it is too difficult for us.
Resting on a piece of rock in Glen Coe.
The mountain on the right was on our left side when we walked towards
the 'lost valley'.
This map (17 kb) shows with a red square where these three photos were taken; dates: 16 September 1996.
