28 december

• Updated the picture of my cat collection on my pets page.
• I've been getting several emails from people asking me about the availability of some Scottish liqueurs and I have to disappoint everyone then: I have no idea which liqueur is available where -- hence, added this message to every liqueur page.

2 december

• Again added a new picture to the page about the 1999 ozone hole as seen by GOME (now about 90kb) -- keep doing this from time to time until the end of December.
• Added some more details and some info on the "mini ozon hole" above Europe on 30 Nov. 1999 to the page with a brief explanation of the ozone hole (now about 90kb)

15 november

• Started a page about single songs by Sarah Brightman, where I want to collect the lyrics of songs not on solo albums

12 october

• Updated the page about my current post-doc. position at the KNMI a little.
• Added to that a page about the 1999 ozone hole as seen by GOME (60kb), with pictures and a brief explanation of the ozone hole.

21 september

• Added to the pages about Numerical simulations of 2D vortex evolution with a Finite Difference Method three more nice examples to the main case of a Lamb dipole that encounters a Bessel monopole, added on 12 Sept.
• Also made there for easier reference another index page listing the available examples, with pictures showing the initial situation and links to the accompanying MPEG movies.

12 september

• Added a nice example of a numerical experiment in which a dipole encounters a monopole head-on to the pages about Numerical simulations of 2D vortex evolution with a Finite Difference Method
• By the way: that page was the 500-th HTML file in my collection on the Web; see this page for the present number of files.

22 august

• Re-arranged my pets page, in view of the end of the life of my cuckoo; sniff ...
• As that page now reports, the cuckoo has come back to live again in September, which has made me happy again.

14 june

• Added on the page with the number of HTML files a graph with the weekly requests of the files in 1999; this graph is automatically updated every Sunday/Monday night.

13 june

• Added an extract from "The Self-Tormentor", play by Terence from which the citation on my Home Page comes from -- the citation I am trying to get translated in as many languages as I can.

8 june

• Added a page about the video of Sarah Brightman's concert One night in Eden, and updated the other pages about the One night in Eden World Tour -- these pages will be updated when new info and tour dates are available.

26 may

• Added a short "review" of the concert in The Hage from the One night in Eden World Tour of Sarah Brightman, including the programme
• The list of dates of Sarah Brightman's World Tour has been and will be updated regularly, as new dates become available.

27 march

• Made page available with a few words on the post-doc. position I started on 17 March, which concerns helping with obtaining ozone distribution in the Earth's atmosphere using satellite data.
• Added a page with the current number of HTML files on my Web site -- and that was page 480!?
• Updated the list of dates of Sarah Brightman's World Tour and had to split this list in three extra pages, bringing the total number of pages at 483 now.

5 january

• Changed the citation on my Home Page.
• Added a page about the start of the next millennium, which is today still 725 days away. The page actually looks best when your browser understands JavaScript.
