What's new on my WWW pages? -- 2011

Much to my regret the profider that hosted my webpages
for more than 25 years has announced that after 1 July
2026 they end the hosting service.
Therefore all my web pages have been moved to another
provider, which means the base URL changes from
https://josvg.home.xs4all.nl/ to http://www.josvg.dds.nl/.

1 November

Created a page in view of the forthcoming concert tour Celtic Footprints by Loreena McKennitt in 2012; more details will be added when available.

20 October

Added the lyrics of a full English version of Time to say goodbye as sung by Sarah Brightman.

11 October

Updated and extended my overview of Scottish Whisky Liqueurs, adding some seven not previously mentioned liqueurs.
Added a graphs of the number of monthly pages requests to the web statistics page.

30 July

Added a translation into Hindi to my collection of translations of the Citation of Terentius Homo sum: humani nil a me alienum puto -- that makes translations in 56 languages.

27 July

Added the lyrics of the song Stand alone by Sarah Brightman, the theme song of a Japanese TV series.

20 July

Released two software tools I made earlier now also via my own website: one for reading HDF-5 with Fortran-90 and one for converting PostScript images to other image formats; see the software tools page.

26 May

Added page about my new job, starting today: Atmospheric Scientist at KNMI, as a scientist satellite remote sensing.
Added the lyrics of two songs from the album About love and life of Vicki Brown.

19 May

Added a track list the concert album Symphony: Live in Vienna from Sarah Brightman, and the lyrics of the bonus track of that album.
