Software tools

This page lists a few software tools I have made for more than just personal use:
they are used also by others at the places where I had post-doc. positions in
atmospheric research: KNMI in De Bilt and BIRA in Brussels.
  1. hdf5read
    A Fortran-90 module for reading the major types of datasets
    and attributes from HDF-5, HDF-EOS and some netCDF-4 files.

    Also available via the 'hdf5read' page @ BIRA,
    though that may not have the latest version.

  2. pstogif
    A software tool to convert images (such as plots) made in PostScript
    (PS or EPS) into other formats: GIF, PNG, JPEG, TIFF and PNM.

    Also available via the 'pstogif' page @ BIRA,
    though that may not have the latest version.
