[Scottish Liqueurs]

[Lochan Ora] Lochan Ora

Chivas Brothers' Lochan Ora -- or: Golden Loch -- Liqueur is made with 100% scotch whiskies. It is produced and bottled by Chivas Brothers Ltd., Aberdeen, Scotland.

I bought a bottle of this wonderful liqueur in The Netherlands. It says "imported" on the label and came in a shining box with illustrations of knights and shields and such.

The liqueur has a very distict smell and taste of herbs and is sweet, so it must also contain some honey, like most other liqueurs. Neither the bottle nor the box give any information on the origin or contents of the liqueur.
