Sarah Brightman - Where eagles fly
- Sarah
-
Between the world of earth and sky
There's a place where eagles fly
There you'll find my heart and soul carried on the wind
And in you I believe, so the time I spent waiting
Is a moment passing, not a minute more
-
- Manowar
-
All the years that passed never changed my mind
What will be for us, will be in time
All the dreams we have, one day will come true
-
- Together
-
Where eagles fly, I will wait for you
-
- Manowar
-
Here I'll pass the night
With many battles left to fight
I'll see the sun rise once again
On a distant shore
-
- Sarah
-
Loneliness will fade away
Time will stop until the day
You return into my arms
To hold me like before
-
- Together
-
All the years that passed never changed my mind
What will be for us, will be in time
All the dreams we have
One day will come true
Where eagles fly, I will wait for you
-
-
Between the world of earth and sky
There's a place where eagles fly
There you'll find my heart and soul carried on the wind
And in you I believe, now and forever
Where eagles fly, I will wait for you
Where eagles fly, I will wait for you
Music and lyrics: unknown
The song was included on an EMI 6 track Advance CD of
Harem, but was
ultimately deleted from the final album.
It has never been "officially" released.
Source of the lyrics: thanks to Mark Bliss.
Mark Bliss added these notes:
-
MANOWAR are: Eric Adams - vocals, Joey DeMaio - bass guitars, Karl Logan
- guitars, Scott Columbus - drums and percussion.
-
According to Paul Bateman who did the arrangement in November 2002,
"Where Eagles Fly" was recorded late 2002, but Paul was unable to conduct
the recording.
Additional note:
-
The first word of the fifth stanza is sung unclear.
The lyrics I received said here "Emptiness", but it sounds more like
"onlyness" to me, but that is not a word, and "emptyness" makes sense.
Then Cassie wrote it could be "Loneliness" and that makes sense too,
so I adapted the lyrics.
