This song is first performed by Princessa on her Calling You Album (released 25 October 1996 by EastWest). Info from the Frank Peterson Website (that is not from Nemo Studios) regarding this song:

Do You Wanna Be Loved (Music: Schwarz, Peterson, Meissner / Lyrics: Schwarz, Brightman)
This is the only song on the album composed by the whole Nemo staff, and features island drums and a more reggae rhythm. Princessa's vocals are nicely echoed and deformed in places. The chorus once again features a catchy and repetitive chorus of na-na-na-na interlaced with Princessa singing the title.
The lyrics were co-written by Sarah, as mentioned above. Sarah herself released the song a few years after Princessa, on the Fly II special edition (2000).
