Being I Europe, I bought the European release and the CD-booklet
gives a translation of the Spanish lyrics of Hijo de la luna
This translation, given in the left column below, contains some
printing errors (e.g. the words "You'll have your man" in the
6th line are missing), but more importantly it contains some errors
in the translation and the English does not sound very well.
That is why I have come up with a translation that sounds better,
which is given in the right column, with
thanks to Lee Amizadai, Valentin Albillo, Paul Sánchez
René Ramos and Aliki Aslanoglou for help.
If you have more corrections or improvements,
please let me know.
Note:
The CD-booklet of the non-European booklet has a translation that
is better than the one in the European booklet, but somewhat different
from the one I came up with.

Son of the moon
Fool who doesn't understand
A legend tells that a gipsy female
"You brown skin"
Chorus:
From a cinnamon skinned father Chorus
When the gipsy feels dishonoured Chorus
And the nights the moon is full |
Son of the moon
Foolish is he who doesn't understand.
A legend tells of a gipsy woman
"You'll have your man, tawny skin,"
Chorus:
From a cinnamon-skinned father Chorus
Believing to be dishonoured, Chorus
And the nights the moon is full |
