Cyrillic characters

 
To get Cyrillic characters in HTML one can give certain commands and if the viewer then switches the browser to the right font she/he sees Cyrillic characters; any other viewer sees a lot of weird characters.
The way I do it is to use (La)TeX to get a PostScript file and convert to a transparent gif file. For this I used the following (La)TeX commands using the right (La)TeX fonts (wncyr10).
